Winning Pitch at Founders Live Cambridge

Friends,
There are around 3 billion people affected by neurological conditions in the world, of which approximately 10 million have Parkinson’s. There is no cure, and most new treatments for Parkinson’s aim to protect brain cells called neurones.

However, did you know that neurones only represent around half of our brains?
So, can we hope to cure the whole complex condition if the other half of the brain remains unprotected?

Nat Hastings presented the vision for Cellestial Health to tackle Parkinson’s and other diseases of the brain from a novel angle by protecting networks of brain cells called astrocytes (roughly the other half) with first-in-class and best-in-class, safe small molecule therapeutics at Founders Live in #Cambridge.
She adds:

“Communication is key to commercialisation. If stakeholders do not understand the importance and feasibility of the proposed plans for the innovation, they will not be able to support it. It is important to explain the company’s vision simply and succinctly, and yet in a way that maintains scientific integrity”

It is our pleasure to have the audience’s vote at #FoundersLiveMarch2025!
