On Thursday 25th of September Cambridge Independent hosted a Gala dinner to celebrate the 2025 edition of the #CIBusinessAwards at King’s College, Cambridge. The event celebrated a range of local businesses from all sectors, from property management to educational opportunities. It is not easy to stand out in such a diverse environment, and in a region of England that is so rich in innovation, so what an honour it is for Cellestial to be noted as a Highly Commended Finalist in the Start-up of the Year category!

Many congratulations to the Start-up Winner, AnthroTek, a manufacturer of hyper-realistic silicone body parts for a range of applications, from artistic to clinical. Congratulations also to Cambridge Medixine and Cambridge IT Security, and special thanks to the sponsors of the Awards: Kale & Damson, Conscious Communications, Cambridge BID, BDO, Pure Resourcing Solutions, The Cambridge Building Society, AstraZeneca, Mantle Space, Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Combined Authority, and HSBC.

It was very special to see Cambridge Independent to partner with Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust (ACT) and raise funds for Cambridge Cancer Research Hospital and Cambridge Children’s Hospital. Some may know that back in 2019, ACT was the first academic funder of the research led by Dr Nat Hastings at the University of Cambridge, Addenbrooke’s Hospital, which formed the foundational science behind Cellestial Health. For that, and for all the work ACT does to advance patient care and translational research, we are forever grateful.
